Cyclohexanone (C 6H 10O) reacts with Os 3(CO) 12 in refluxing decane to give H 2Os 3(μ 3-C 6H 8O)(CO) 9, formed by double metallation (oxidative addition) at an α-CH 2 group of the ketone. Structurally similar products from phenol, phenyl-acetaldehyde or other aldehydes (described earlier) and from cyclohexenone are derived by reaction with Os 3(CO) 12 or H 2Os 3(CO) 10.

AbstractThe 1−2 addition reactions of aldehydes on the germanium‐phosphorus bond of germaphospholanes lead to diastereoisomeric germoxyphosphepanes. An asymetric induction of the chiral phosphorus atom is observed with preferential formation of sterically favoured diastereoisomers. This stereochemistry seems to derive from a four‐centered insertion concerted mechanism. In the regio‐selective additions of conjugated ethylenic derivatives (acrylonitrile and methyl acrylate) the preferential formation of diastereoisomers is also observed. Phenylacetylene undergoes a radical insertion reaction into the intracyclic germanium‐phosphorus bond with formation of two ethylenic isomers. The reactions of germaphospholanes with cyclic ethers and α‐ethylenic aldehydes and ketones respectively lead, after 1−3 or 1−4 additions, to new germylated and phosphorylated 8 or 9 membered heterocycles. Oxidation and sulfuration reactions of germaphospholanes are also described.

The Radiation-induced Radical Addition Reaction of Aldehydes to 1, 3, 3, 4, 4-Pentafluorocyclobutene

1,3,3,4,4-ペンタフルオロシクロブテン〔1〕とアルデヒド類,アセト-プロE" t-,かブチル-およびイソブチルアルデヒドとのγ線照射によるラジカル付加反応について研究した。その結果 アシルラジカルが二重結合の=CF 側から付加した(CF2),CH2CFCOR〔4〕と=CH側 I Iから伽した(e) CHFgHCOR〔5〕 不飽和1：1伽物(iF) CH=gCOR〔6〕および対州造の1：2付加物ROCCH(CF2),CHCOR〔7〕が得られた。1：1付加物 〔4〕と〔5〕の生成割合はアルデヒドの構造と無関係につねに 一定であり,〔4〕：〔5〕=1：2であった。〔5〕は不安定な化合物で温和な条件下でも脱フヅ化水素し〔6〕を生成するが,〔4〕は安定な化合物であった。アルデヒド類の見かけ上の反応性はつぎの順序で減少した。n--CsH7CHO>C2HsCHO2CHsCHO>>i-CsH7CHO
