This study discusses the transformation of the role of the Independent Education Accreditation Agency (IEAA/LAMDIK) in ensuring the quality of education study programmes at Islamic Higher Education Institutions (IHEI/PTKI) in the global era. This study stems from the need for reform in the quality of Indonesian higher education amid the challenges of globalisation, digitalisation, and the demands of 21st-century competencies. LAMDIK serves as an independent accreditation agency that plays a strategic role in ensuring external quality, replacing the role of National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (NAA-HE/BAN-PT) for education clusters, with a new paradigm of accreditation based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE). The objectives of this study are to describe the transformation of LAMDIK's role, analyse the implementation of outcome-based accreditation policies, and identify the challenges faced by PTKI in the accreditation process. The method used is a multi-case qualitative approach involving three PTKIs: Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) North Sumatra, and Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam (STAI) Aceh Tamiang. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies, and analysed using the Miles, Huberman & Saldana model. The study results show that LAMDIK has undergone a paradigmatic transformation in policies, instruments, and the accreditation process, from a compliance-based system to a performance- and achievement-based system. LAMDIK acts as a quality regulator, facilitator of a culture of quality, and catalyst for change in academic governance at PTKI. However, challenges remain, such as limited human resources, digital literacy, and the integration of Islamic epistemology into accreditation instruments. In conclusion, LAMDIK has become an agent of transformation in the quality of higher education in PTKI, which assesses administrative compliance and builds a sustainable quality culture oriented towards global competitiveness.

Land cover classification plays an important role in supporting environmental management and spatial planning, particularly in watershed areas. However, recent studies have predominantly emphasized advanced machine learning approaches, with limited attention given to the applicability of conventional methods such as Maximum Likelihood Classification (MLC) in specific local contexts. This study aims to evaluate the performance of the MLC method in classifying land cover in the Krueng Langsa watershed using high-resolution RapidEye imagery. This research was conducted from July to October 2024 in the Krueng Langsa watershed, covering East Aceh, Aceh Tamiang, and Langsa City. Land cover classification was performed using supervised Maximum Likelihood Classification in ArcGIS 10.8.2, followed by accuracy assessment using a confusion matrix and kappa coefficient based on stratified random sampling. The results identified ten land cover classes, with dryland forest dominating the area at 38.01%, while open land had the smallest proportion at 0.80%. The classification achieved an overall accuracy of 89% and a kappa coefficient of 0.88, indicating an almost perfect level of agreement. These findings demonstrate that the MLC method remains effective and reliable for land cover classification in tropical watershed environments. This study highlights the continued relevance of conventional classification approaches and provides valuable baseline information for sustainable watershed management and regional planning in the Krueng Langsa area.

The impacted community's basic requirements have not been met as a result of the natural disaster that struck Aceh Tamiang Regency. In order to guarantee that aid is targeted, particularly for vulnerable populations (toddlers, pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities), the Community Service program aims to distribute integrated logistical assistance and give distribution assistance. Benua Raja Village, Bukit Tempurung Village, Purwodadi Village, and Rantau Village were the four impacted villages where this exercise was carried out on December 7, 2025. Involving the community and volunteers, the strategies employed included gathering and delivering logistical support, distributing bundles of necessities, and offering distribution support all the way to the end. The activity's findings show that, in spite of obstacles brought on by difficult environmental circumstances and restricted access, community-based distribution and the integrated logistics package approach can increase assistance distribution's accuracy, transparency, and accountability. This program not only provides for the basic requirements of the community but also enhances local volunteer talents and humanitarian networks. Aid distribution was more successful thanks to the integrated logistical strategy and field support, which may be repeated in subsequent flood situations. It is intended that this initiative will serve as a template for adaptable and long-lasting community service approaches to disaster relief

Aceh Tamiang Regency is an area with a high risk of annual flooding. This emergency condition often triggers a surge in environment-related diseases such as skin diseases, respiratory infections, and diarrhea. The success of managing health crises heavily depends on pharmaceutical logistics management, especially the availability of essential medicines and ease of access for refugees at evacuation points. This study aims to analyze the extent of medicine availability at community health centers and health posts, as well as to evaluate the barriers to medicine accessibility for flood victims in Aceh Tamiang Regency. This study uses a qualitative/quantitative descriptive method (choose one) with a case study approach. Primary data were collected through in-depth interviews with pharmaceutical logistics officers and surveys of flood survivors. Secondary data were obtained from the drug stock reports of the Aceh Tamiang District Health Office. Analysis was conducted on variables such as drug types, stock amounts (Buffer Stock), and distribution channels during the emergency response period. The results of the study indicate that the availability of drugs in the initial disaster phase tends to be (state the prediction, e.g., sufficient/limited). However, accessibility is often hindered by damaged road infrastructure and uneven distribution to remote posts. There is an urgent need to strengthen the logistics early warning system so that the types of medicines available match the disease patterns that emerge after floods. Although medicine stocks are generally available in central pharmacy warehouses, geographical constraints and distribution coordination are the main factors hindering accessibility. It is recommended that local governments map out alternative distribution routes and provide disaster-specific buffer stock of medicines at the sub-district level.

This study investigates the geochemical distribution of rare earth elements (REEs) in stream sediments from the Aceh Tamiang Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia, an area characterized by a complex geological framework and potential lanthanide-bearing source rocks. Rare earth elements such as lanthanum (La), scandium (Sc), and yttrium (Y) are essential to modern high-technology and clean-energy applications, yet baseline data from this region remain limited. A total of forty stream sediment samples were collected from the Simpang Kanan, Simpang Kiri, Tamiang, and Tenggulun rivers to determine the spatial distribution and concentration levels of La, Sc, and Y. All three elements were detected in the riverbed sediments in the study area, with La showing higher concentrations (average 11 ppm) compared to Sc (2 ppm) and Y (3 ppm). Higher values are observed in upstream sediments underlain by igneous and metamorphic rocks, while lower values occur in downstream sedimentary zones. This distribution pattern indicates that the enrichment of REEs is primarily derived from the weathering of upstream source rocks. Additionally, the presence of active tectonic structures in the region may have contributed to the mobilization and accumulation of these elements. This study establishes a baseline of REE distribution in stream sediments of Tamiang and provides valuable data that may support broader regional geochemical investigations.

This study aims to describe the instructional leadership practices of principals in building effective schools at Sekolah Dasar Gugus II Ratu Safiatuddin, Aceh Tamiang Regency. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and document study. Data analysis was conducted thematically with the assistance of NVivo software to ensure depth and transparency. The results reveal three main instructional leadership practices: (1) continuous and feedback-based academic supervision, (2) teacher professional development through training and collaboration in Teacher Working Groups (KKG), and (3) the creation of a positive school culture characterized by open communication, appreciation, and discipline. Triangulation analysis using NVivo's project map feature shows a strong alignment between the perspectives of principals and teachers, confirming that these practices tangibly shape a safe, comfortable, and conducive learning climate. The main obstacle faced is the high administrative burden, which limits time for instructional functions. The study concludes that structured and learning-oriented instructional leadership is a key factor in building primary school effectiveness and recommends the need for supportive policies to strengthen the instructional role of principals amid administrative challenges.

This study examines the impact of an Islamic value-based school culture on the improvement of teacher performance in elementary schools within Aceh Tamiang Regency, Indonesia. Although Islamic ideals have been incorporated into school traditions for an extended period, their assimilation into teachers' professional practices remains variable. This qualitative case study examines two public elementary schools—SD Negeri Alur Sentang and SD Negeri Paya Rahat—through in-depth interviews, non-participant observations, and document analysis. Utilizing Schein’s organizational culture theory and Bernardin & Russell’s performance model, the study investigates the expression of cultural artifacts, embraced values, and foundational assumptions that influence teacher conduct and work ethics. The findings indicate that Islamic cultural practices, including daily prayers, tadarus, and moral reminders, are evident yet not fully integrated into teachers' professional activity. The cultural dynamics are shaped by three main things: (1) artifacts that represent religious identity, (2) values that are important to people, such as discipline, amanah, and responsibility, and (3) beliefs that work is religion. All of these things together affect how well teachers do their jobs in terms of discipline, relationships with others, and devotion. Nonetheless, deficiencies persist in leadership modeling, implementation consistency, and community support. The study finds that to make Islamic value-based school culture stronger, we need strategic leadership, meaningful habituation, and working together. Suggestions are given to schools and policymakers to help teachers become more professional and culturally aware in a more complete way
