On Development of Prognostic Research in Russian Education from 2001 to 2025
  • Apr 30, 2026
  • Moscow Pedagogical Journal
  • E V Neborsky

Aim. To present the results of a review of dissertations defended in 2001–2025 in Russia in the field of educational forecasting, identifying thematic areas and gaps, as well as possible prospects for scientific developments. Methodology. The research is based on a descriptive approach, which involves recording and systematizing data and analyzing the current situation. Content analysis for the quantitative measurement of dissertations and thematic blocks, classification method for the purpose of systematizing the dissertations themselves by relevant keywords to obtain a sample corresponding to the research objective, thematic analysis method for the purpose of identifying thematic blocks in the data array, and critical analysis method for identifying thematic gaps and potential prospects for further research were used as research methods. The source for the analysis was an array of dissertations in the field of predictive studies of educational development, which were defended between 2001 and 2025 in Russia according to the pedagogical codes of scientific specialties of the nomenclature of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation. In total, the sample included 164 dissertations, of which 137 were Cand. Sci. theses, and 27 Dr. Sci. theses. Results. The study revealed that a total of 136 theses were defended in the 2000s, 28 in the 2010s, and 0 in the first five years of 2020. The three most frequently occurring thematic blocks in dissertation research were forecasting as a skill (competence, ability, potential, skills), for example, for the development and implementation of projects, the prevention of deviant behavior, etc. (including among teachers), forecasting educational outcomes, learning success, or learning difficulties, a predictive model in the management of an educational organization (advanced development), monitoring based on forecasting and evaluation, often associated with strategic management, including in the region. The sample did not include dissertation studies devoted to the development of pedagogical phenomena, teaching aids, the transformation of professions and models of professional activity, or the impact of technology on education and training. These topics can form the basis for further research. Research implications . The scientific novelty of the research lies in its identification of thematic clusters of dissertations defended in 2001–2025 in the field of educational prognostics and the identification of thematic gaps. At a theoretical level, the study’s results expand our understanding of the current state of educational prognostics in the Russian scientific community, contributing to prognostic theory and the history of its development. Its practical significance lies in its formulation of recommendations for future research. Conclusions. Prognostic research on the future development of education in the form of dissertations is currently virtually nonexistent. Forecasting is increasingly becoming a method used in conjunction with other methods in other fields (economics, sociology). Foresight practices, which became popular in the 2010s, will undoubtedly remain in demand, as they, by evolving into more scalable and accessible formats for a wider audience, make the development of educational forecasting research as a field possible and influence educational policy.

Vision+ pay television. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to gain an in-depth understanding of Public Relations practices at MNC Channels. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman interactive model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the role of Public Relations is not yet fully optimized, especially in the strategic decision-making process. Public Relations functions more as a technical implementer of communication rather than as a management advisor. This condition has an impact on the less than optimal efforts to strengthen the Vision+ brand image. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the role of Public Relations as an expert prescriber, communication facilitator, problem-solving facilitator, and communication technician to support the company's communication strategy and improve brand image. In addition, this study also found that internal coordination, utilization of digital media, and consistency of communication messages are important factors in building positive public perception. The lack of integration between the Public Relations function and strategic management causes the messages delivered to be not fully aligned with brand positioning

This study analyzes the correlations between strategic school management and pedagogical leadership as fundamental pillars for the promotion of educational quality in contemporary educational institutions. The general objective is to investigate institutional practices that favor the strengthening of democratic management and the improvement of teaching-learning processes from the perspective of school effectiveness. The methodological procedures adopted are based on an integrative and qualitative bibliographic review, grounded in real, indexed scientific productions published between the years twenty-twenty and twenty-twenty-five. The analysis of the evidence reveals that the manager's leadership transcends the administrative sphere, requiring direct engagement with teacher training and the monitoring of academic performance indicators. The results indicate that schools adopting distributed and participatory leadership models show higher levels of community engagement and better indices of basic education development. It is found that school management centered on pedagogical leadership acts as a catalyst for innovation, allowing the overcoming of structural challenges by strengthening the political-pedagogical project. It is concluded that the promotion of educational quality depends on the synergistic articulation between the operational efficiency of management and the capacity to lead change processes that value the subjectivity of school actors.

DEVELOPMENT OF A METHODOLOGY FOR ASSESSING THE INNOVATION POTENTIAL OF RUSSIAN REGIONS FOR TARGETED STATE REGULATION
  • Apr 30, 2026
  • Bulletin of Chelyabinsk State University
  • I.а Varzina + 1 more

Innovative development of a state, which has recently been one of the priority directions of the Russian Federation’s strategy, is determined by the aggregate potential of its territories. This makes leveling regional capabilities an imperative of modern economic policy. The aim of this study was to apply an author-developed methodology to create a rating of Russian regions based on their level of innovation potential and to formulate recommendations for the development of groups of these regions. The development of an authentic methodology was based on quantity and quality analysis of 25 existing worldwide practices for assessing the innovation potential of a country’s substitute entities. Based on the author’s methodology, which includes 15 weighted indicators covering regional basic conditions, investments in science and technology, as well as regional innovation activity, an assessment of the innovation potential of 85 constituent entities of the Russian Federation was conducted and their rating was constructed. The analyzed regions are classified into three groups: “Innovation Leaders,” “Moderate Innovators,” and “Beginners in Innovation.” For each group, a set of targeted state policy measures is formulated, aimed both at strengthening their own potential and at reducing interregional inequality through cooperation and technology transfer. The obtained results and the proposed methodology for assessing the innovation potential of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation can be used by public authorities to form a balanced regional policy, as well as by the business community for strategic planning.

  • Tesalonika Cindy Worang + 1 more

Diaconal service is one of the essential callings of the church, yet in practice, it often gets trapped in a charitable model that is reactive, sporadic, and unsustainable. Consequently, such service fails to produce genuine social transformation for its recipients. This article demonstrates that to revitalize diaconal ministry, the church requires a new paradigm that integrates the spirituality of servant leadership with the discipline of strategic management. Servant leadership provides the theological foundation, vision, and ethical motivation centered on the serving example of Christ. Meanwhile, strategic management offers a practical framework, encompassing planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating, to ensure that the vision is executed effectively, efficiently, and accountably. Through a qualitative approach using the literature study method, the author analyzes and synthesizes these two concepts to construct a transformative diaconia model. The result is a holistic paradigm where spirituality and strategy work synergistically, guiding the church to move from merely providing momentary assistance toward planned and long-term impactful community empowerment.

Blood Buddy: A Smart Geospatial Platform for Real-Time Blood Donor Management
  • Apr 30, 2026
  • International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology
  • Payal Sobhani

Blood donation plays a critical role in modern healthcare systems by supporting emergency surgeries, trauma treatment, maternal care, cancer therapy, and management of chronic diseases. However, many blood donation systems continue to rely on fragmented donor databases, manual communication methods, delayed updates, and geographically disconnected coordination processes. During emergencies, these limitations often lead to critical delays in locating compatible blood donors, thereby affecting patient outcomes [1][2]. This research presents Blood Buddy, a smart web-based geospatial platform designed to improve real-time blood donor management through intelligent digital coordination and location-aware services. The proposed system integrates a high-performance backend developed using FastAPI, an efficient MongoDB database with geospatial indexing, and a modern React-based frontend featuring interactive map visualization through React-Leaflet and OpenStreetMap services [3][5][15]. The platform enables users to register as donors, submit urgent blood requests, search for nearby compatible donors, and monitor real-time donor availability within a specified radius. Pydantic-based validation models ensure reliable data quality and secure input handling [4][11]. Experimental prototype testing demonstrates donor search times below five seconds, API response latency near 120 milliseconds, and accurate radius-based donor discovery. The platform is expected to significantly reduce conventional donor search time from 30–60 minutes to less than one minute during emergencies [6][9]. Future enhancements include mobile applications, multilingual interfaces, machine learning-based donor prediction, blockchain-backed records, and healthcare system integration. Blood Buddy represents a scalable and practical step toward smarter healthcare resource management.
