The track quality measuring by the track probability existence in order to determine the limits of the possibility of effective target tracking is present in this paper. The most known algorithms for radar target tracking do not have tools to measure track quality. There is no valid procedure that guarantees the verification of the optimal algorithm for a specific application in targets tracking. Standard Integrated Track Splitting (ITS) is the efficient, fully automatic multi target tracking algorithm with initialization, maintenance and deletion tracks and is well-known single and multi target tracking algorithm, also proposed for the purpose of testing the limits of successful tracking. The paper allows the user to choose optimal parameter by the proposed parameters - thresholds of confirmed and false tracks in order to achieve better false track discrimination (FTD). In particular, a diagram of RMSE position errors is also given in the comparison of the proposed algorithm.

The main purpose of this paper was to determine tritium concentration in surface water samples, using liquid scintillation counting. Surface water samples were collected from the Mlaka creek on three different locations near PC "Nuclear Facilities of Serbia". The importance of tritium monitoring around nuclear reactors and nuclear waste storages is due to prevention of possible internal exposure through ingestion of drinking waters with elevated levels of tritium from existing water supply in their nearby. Tritium concentrations that have been measured during the period from 2017 to 2022 ranged from less than 2 Bq/L to 103 Bq/L.

Measurements of recoil and counter-recoil movement in weapons are essential in order to optimize ballistic performances, to ensure safety during firing, to improve the accuracy and the effectiveness of the weapon during its life cycle and to guide design and development work. From this, the present work focuses on contact-based measurements of the counter-recoil movement of the D30J 122 mm howitzer using two inductive sensors, namely, displacement sensor and acceleration sensor. The measurements from the displacement sensor were used to calculate the velocity and acceleration of the counter-recoil by derivation and those of the acceleration sensors were used to calculate the velocity and displacement of the counter-recoil by integration. The comparison between the measured and calculated results obtained from the two sensors shows a very good similarity in form of variation and in values, which validates the applied experimental approach in this work and confirms the accuracy of both measurement methods.

Additive manufacturing, as a production technology and a scientific field, offers a lot of potential for new research, attracts the attention and interest of manufacturing companies and the academic community. With a new approach in product design, a digital connection chain, and the possibility of producing final products with complex configurations, it has significant advantages in relation to conventional production. However, the initial investment and production costs make this technology still inaccessible to a certain number of users, with the tendency for this to change. In this sense, great attention has been paid to additive manufacturing planning, cost analysis and the possibility of optimizing structural and process parameters of production and processes. This paper is intended to explain, in a clear and concise manner, the basic assumptions of the technology, its advantages and certain disadvantages, ongoing and future trends in development as well as current areas of research (cost estimation, multi criteria decision making (MCDM), topology optimization) and applied methods and concepts. The authors believe that this paper will provide additional help in process planning for additive manufacturing as well as promote the necessity for introducing and application of different optimization techniques when designing technology for additive manufacturing.

This paper presents the simulation of mobile telephony systems realized in Excel program. Although primarily intended for other applications, Excel has several advantages over other specialized programs for simulation purposes. Excel application for simulation is illustrated by several examples from already published papers with the main goal to describe the most important part of realized simulations that allows determination of all important characteristics of telecommunication traffic process. Beside traffic process, the Excel application allows a reliable simulation of base station emission power starting from a random distance between the base station and mobile station.

Numerical analysis of a flow filed around the aerodynamic compensation pitot-static tube that is used on a domestic ORAO J22 aircraft is presented in this paper. The analysis was performed for three different Mach numbers of the free stream velocity for two configurations of the pitot-static tube. The comparison of the pressure coefficient (Cp) distribution for both of the configurations is given.

In the past few years, we have witnessed that due to the pandemic and wars, some countries have limited their export of various ingredients. The request has been made to create a time delay pyrotechnic composition with easily accessible ingredients. For that purpose, black powder with addition of phenol formaldehyde resin was a possible solution. This study aims to show an optimization of the ratio in the fuel-oxidant mixture and how this ratio influences the properties of pyrotechnic compositions. The stoichiometric ratios were determined by using the oxygen balance (OB) and pyro valence (PV) values. The linear burning rate was measured using a VOD 811 measuring system for some typical compositions which were pressed into alluminium tubes. The calorimetric bomb was used in the experiments with an inert gas supply to determinate the heat of reaction and the closed-vessel test was used to measure the production of gaseous products. The theoretical maximum density was calculated using ingredients' density measured with gas pycnometer ULTRAPYC 5000 with an inert gas supply nitrogen or helium. After these tests, it was concluded that pyrotechnic composition with more than 25 wt.% of charcoal does not satisfy requirements for a gas producing pyrotechnic composition. The minimal requirements can be satisfied with pyrotechnic compositions that consist of 75-80 wt.% of potassium

The removal of methomyl, one of the most frequent pesticides, from aqueous solutions has been studied by adsorption using the reactivated carbon microspheres separated from worn filtering protective suits. This study is significant in two aspects - the first is the in-situ adsorption of pesticides from aqueous solutions, and the second is recycling protective equipment as an effective material for water decontamination. Carbamate pesticide, methomyl is aimed to control foliage and soil-borne insect pests on various agricultural product. Also, due its toxicity, it has a great potential for usage in terroristic acts and tactical purposes during military operations. The reactivated carbon (RAC) microspheres were characterized by Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM). The changes in relative concentration of methomyl during the adsorption onto the surface of the RAC microspheres was determinated using the UV-Visible spectrophotometer. The adsorption process is described by Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin, and Dubinin-Radushkevich adsorption isotherm models. The adsorption kinetics follows the second-order kinetics model, and the thermodynamics study confirms that the adsorption is exothermic and spontaneous. At optimal conditions, the adsorption capacity was qe = 8.631 mol g-1 × 10-8 and the adsorption rate was k = 0.749 g mmol-1 min-1. The Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin, and Dubinin-Radushkevich adsorption isotherm models were used to describe the adsorption process. The thermodynamic study of adsorption proves the process is spontaneous with exothermic nature.

This paper presents the analysis of CAN communication protocol operation which actually is a communication between the nodes utilizing different types of sensors. The system consists of multiple nodes with microcontrollers of different architectures. One node is a control node and other nodes send data to it. The system is implemented and checked in the laboratory. For signal analysis, a digital oscilloscope and logic analyzer are used. Also, the obtained results and signal diagrams are presented as well.
