In the version of the article initially published, in the key to Fig. 3 , the labels for "Calcium phosphate" and "Uric acid" were swapped and have now been corrected to "Calcium phosphate" (yellow) and "Uric acid" (dark blue). Additionally, in the Abstract, "xanthine oxidases" has been amended to "xanthine oxidase inhibitors" and in the "Management of hypocalcaemia" section, "total calcium" has been corrected to "ionized calcium". These corrections have been made to the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
