The The role of Sarvang sundar rasa Orally and Mahamash tail locally in the management of Amavata WSR to Rheumatoid Arthritis –A case study.

Amavata is term derives from the word as Ama and vata.Ama is a type of metabolic toxin; it is an essential factor in development of pathology.Mandagni (low digestive fire) produce Ama in the body,when ama get associated with vitiated vata and starts circulating in the body accupies in shleshmal sthana(asthi sandhi) results in painful disease Amavata. Madhavakara (900 AD) has identified first time the disease.Amavata as seprate entity and discribed the disease in detail.Madhavakara describes etiopathology of amavata that the person with weak digestion (Mandagni) if he is posseses a secondary life (nishchalasya)or if he indulges into virrudha aaharaand vihara e.g.excessive exercise after taking heavy and fatty food,ama is produced and vata get vitiated. This ama provoks by vata (Vayuna preritah),Circulates in the body especially towards shleshmal sthanas. the resultant of cardinal symptoms of amvata are painful swelling of the joints (sarujashotham ) of hands,feet,ankle,knee,hip,Spinal column,and stiffness(jadyata),fever( Jwara),loss of appetite (aruchi),indigestion (apaka),Constipation(vibandhata),gurguling(antrakujanam)etc. this impairs the day to day functions of person.in spite of presence of NSAID,DMRD,steroids etc. the rheumatology remains refractory to treatment but Ayurvedic drug which are therapeutically safe and effectiveness.

EXPLORING THE POSSIBILITIES AND CHALLENGES IN IMMUNOMODULATORY STRATEGIES IN KAUMARABHRITYA WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO YUKTIKRITA BALA

Immunization has been one of the biggest success stories of modern medicine. The WHO estimates that at least 10 million deaths were prevented between 2010 and 2015.Ayurveda upholds the unique principles of strengthening innate resistance of an individual in prevention and cure of diseases which is inculcated from the time of conception.The bala or vyadhikshamatva is the functional aspect of ojus.Vyadhi utpadak pratibandhakatva and Vyadhibala virodhitva which are the two aspects of vyadhikshamatva are determined and controlled by the state of Ojus.The immunomodulation is done through the medium of medicines at proper age, dose and state of body along with proper diet,regimen and state of mind. The study explores the immuno modulation strategies in children through a literature survey through the Brhat trayee and kaumarabhritya classics like Kashyapa samhitha,Arogya kalpadruma along with relevant online articles..”Prakara yoga” will be elaborated for its immunomodulatory action.An experience survey among ayurveda experts for the use of methodologies for use and practicality of these strategies also is included. Rasayana karma of poisonous Bhallataka: A Review

Rasayan is a branch of the Ayurveda. Charaka had described fulfilling the aim of the Ayurveda i.e., drugs act by preventing old age and diseases in the healthy person. Charaka stated about two types of medicine, one which promotes resistance to the body and another which cures diseases and Rasayan therapy play a key role in achieving these goals The main aim of Rasayan therapy is to promote the formation of or resistance which in modern terminology can be called as promoting the strength of the immune system. Bhallataka, a medicinal drug has the ability to penetrate deeply into the tissues and rejuvenate the body that’s why it was used to hold in high esteem by ancient sages of Ayurveda. Maharshi Charak emphasized the Rasayana property of Bhallataka and described ten types of preparations with it. He considered bhallataka as the best drug to cure the kaphaj vyadhi. Charak has categorized Bhallataka as Dipaniya -an appetizer, Bhedaniya- to break accumulated doshas, mutra sangrahaniya- antidiuretic, and Kusthaghna -antidermatosis. In the present study, review of the drugs had been made from Ayurveda classics. Because it is important to have an awareness regarding the Poisonous drugs, when used in the proper form & prescribed dose they act as a potent therapeutic agent. It is a fact that virtually any substance can be harmful at high enough concentrations as rightly quoted that “All substances are poisons; there is none which is not a poison. The right dose differentiates a poison from a remedy.”

Ayurveda approach in the management of Covid-19 in pregnancy- A review study.

The covid-19 Pandemic in India is part of the worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome Corona virus 2 . The disease originates through bats and spread from unknown mediums to People. Ideally, the condition is spread by Inhalation or close contact with the infected patient’s Droplets. Incubation Periods in between 2 and 14 days there are so many infections and Death that have been caused by the disease. The symptoms of the disease include fever, cough, sneezing, sore throat, difficulty in breathing, generalized weakness. The diagnosis of the disease depends upon multiple symptoms of the upper and lower respiratory tract. Based on the available evidence, various clinical guidelines for the management of COVID-19 have been formulated. Ayurveda has documented the first reference of epidemics as Janapadodhwamsa and has given a scientific insight into its causes, effect, and prevention along with management strategies. This article intends to compile and summarise guidelines from esteemed organizations along with their implication in the Indian ethical scenario and offers an easy tool for clinicians managing pregnant women in times of COVID-19. The clinical profile of COVID-19 matches with Vata-Kapha dominant Sannipataja Jwara for which detailed treatment guidelines and an array of pharmaceutical preparations are described in Ayurvedic literature which are being practiced by qualified Ayurvedic physicians effectively for long. This highlights the Ayurvedic perspective of the COVID-19 along with its prevention, prophylaxis and management strategies through Ayurveda
