Abstract (in english) Purpose: This study aims to analyze how openness to experience and learning goal orientation influence paradoxical leader behavior and the mediating effect of paradoxical leader behavior and the moderating effect of psychological capital on follower performance. Design/methodology/approach: This research is a quantitative research, using PLS-SEM data analysis. The sampling method uses purposive sampling. The respondents were 102 lecturers and administrative staff at universities who had subordinates. Questionnaires were distributed to collect data Findings: Significant results were shown by openness to experience on paradox leader behavior, as well as learning goal orientation on paradoxical leader behavior and learning goal orientation on follower performance. The results showed that paradoxical leader behavior neither did mediate openness to experience nor learning goal orientation on follower performance, Meanwhile, insignificant results were also shown by openness to experience on follower performance, and paradoxical leader behavior on follower performance. In addition, there was no moderating effect of psychological capital on paradoxical leader behavior on follower performance. Research limitations/implications: This study has limitations, as the population in this study only came from private universities in Indonesia. Future research could be expanded to include public universities or other demographic groups/sectors and adding other variables to deepen understanding of the relationship between these variables. Practical implications: The results of the study indicate that leaders and foundations at private universities need to develop a culture and create a work environment through rules and policies that emphasize learning goal orientation and openness to experience to encourage adaptive paradoxical leadership behavior. Employees who understand paradoxical leader behavior can see conflicting and competing demands as phenomena in the organization and can integrate various demands so that the contradictions between them can be productive. Originality/value: This research contributes to the implementation of Paradox Theory and Personality Traits in influencing the performance of subordinates among lecturers at private universities in Indonesia. This represents a research gap and is interesting because there is not much research on this topic. Paper Type: This article is a research paper examining the influence of openness to experience and learning goal orientation on paradoxical leader behavior, the mediating effect of paradoxical leader behavior, and the moderating effect of psychological capital on follower performance. Keywords: Paradox leader behavior; openness to experience; learning goal orientation; follower performance, psychological capital.

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the influence of the Poverty Gap Index (PGI), Human Development Index (HDI), and Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) on the growth of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in six provinces on Java Island from 2012-2024. The study also examines the simultaneous effect of these three independent variables on GRDP growth. Design/methodology/approach: A quantitative approach was employed using panel data regression analysis. The sample consists of six provinces in Java Island over the period 2012 to 2024, with data processing conducted using Stata 17. Model selection involved the Chow Test and Lagrange Multiplier Test. Classical assumption tests included normality, multicollinearity, heteroskedasticity, and autocorrelation. Findings: The results indicate that the Poverty Gap Index has a significant negative effect on GRDP growth. The Human Development Index has no significant effect on GRDP growth. While the Labor Force Participation Rate has a significant positive effect on GRDP growth. Simultaneously, the three independent variables were found to have a statistically significant joint effect on GRDP growth in Java. Research limitations/implications: This study is limited by its inclusion of only three independent variables and less detailed supporting literature for the Poverty Gap Index. This suggests that the model's explanatory power is limited, and GRDP variations are largely influenced by factors outside the model. Practical implications: These findings highlight the importance of policies that not only reduce the number of poor but also the depth of poverty through more targeted social assistance. Improving the quality of education and health is crucial for enhancing labor productivity. Furthermore, the creation of productive employment opportunities should be encouraged to optimize labor force participation. Originality/value: This research provides empirical contributions to understanding the relationship between the Poverty Gap Index, Human Development Index, and Labor Force Participation Rate on GRDP growth in Java Island from 2012-2024, addressing previous research limitations. The use of the Poverty Gap Index offers a more sensitive measure of poverty's economic burden on marginalized groups.

This study uses secondary data analyzed and panel data regression method. By using Fixed Effect Model (FEM) analysis, the results show that budget deficit, FDI, and HDI have a positive and significant effect on economic growth. These findings indicate that efficient fiscal policy, increasing attractiveness for foreign investors, and improving the quality of human resources are important factors in driving sustainable economic growth in the ASEAN region. • Purpose: This study aims to analyze and rank the factors influencing food security in Indonesia under climate change, focusing on the role of variables such as temperature change, drought and land fires, pollution, floods, irrigated rice fields, number of farmers, agricultural GRDP, and number of markets.• Design/methodology/approach: The research employs the Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) method using the Preference Ranking Organization Method for Enrichment Evaluation (PROMETHEE), applied to data from 34 provinces in Indonesia.• Findings: The results indicate that 17 provinces have positive Phi values, reflecting relatively higher food security, while the other 17 provinces with negative Phi values show greater vulnerability to climate change.• Research limitations/implications: The study is limited by the selected variables and secondary data availability, excluding external factors such as government policies, geopolitical conditions, and global market dynamics. This opens opportunities for future research to add new variables or apply the model at the district or city level.• Practical implications: The provincial rankings provide a basis for policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders in designing adaptive strategies to strengthen food security and prioritize interventions and resource allocation.• Originality/value: The originality of this study lies in the application of the PROMETHEE method in analyzing food security in Indonesia, highlighting its novelty and importance in supporting sustainable national food security. Keywords: Food Security, Adaptive Capacity, Climate Change, PROMETHEE.

The objective of this study is to identify the variables that impact worker productivity, with a specific emphasis on the role of information and communication technologies. This study employs a panel data regression analysis technique, with a sample of 34 provinces and a time series spanning 8 years, from 2015 to 2022. The research findings indicate that the presence of physical capital stock, human capital stock, trade openness, labor wages, and the number of households with internet connection have a significant positive impact on labor productivity in Indonesia. Conversely, the proportion of the population that possesses or manages cellphones has a substantial negative impact on labor productivity. Hence, the utilization of ICT must be complemented by a high level of digital proficiency in order to enhance productivity.
