Koi fish (Cyprinus rubrofuscus) are ornamental fish with high economic value, but their cultivation is constrained by the supply of quality seeds. Poor aquatic environments and high fish density can cause parasitic infections that weaken immunity and cause stress and infection in fish. This study aims to determine the types of parasites, prevalence, intensity and dominance that attack koi fish. This study used a survey method. The primary data taken were the total length and weight of the fish, the type and number of parasites, and water quality (temperature, pH, DO and ammonia). The koi fish used were the result of self-cultivation at Andar Fish Farm Lingsar as many as 20 samples. The results showed 3 types of parasites found attacking koi fish samples, namely Dactyrogirus sp., Argulus sp., and Oodinium sp. The prevalence rate of parasites found attacking koi fish samples from the four sampling ponds ranged from 20 - 100%, falling into the category of frequent infections to always infections, then the level of parasite intensity found ranged from 1 - 16.4 individuals/tail with a low to moderate category, then the level of parasite dominance was 98.2% Dactyrogirus sp., 1.3% Argulus sp. and 0.44% respectively. Oodinium sp.

Keeping fish in a fresh condition is very important. The use of ice and the addition of salt to maintain fish freshness are the most commonly used techniques for preserving fish. This study aims to determine the effect of adding salt and ice on the organoleptic and hedonic characteristics of lemuru fish (Sardinella lemuru) and snakehead fish (Channa striata). The research used an experimental method with four treatments and three replications, using a salt concentration of 10%. The ice-to-fish ratio was 1:1, with a storage duration of 24 hours. The results showed that the organoleptic test scores for fresh fish ranged from 6 to 9, and for boiled fish ranged from 4 to 9, indicating that the fish was still in a fresh condition. Meanwhile, the hedonic test results for fresh and boiled fish ranged from 2 to 8, with categories ranging from "strongly dislike" to "like.".

The aim of this study is to examine the evolution and research trends related to PBL, which is considered an effective learning model for enhancing students’ CTS, using a bibliometric approach. The method used is a bibliometric analysis of literature sourced from Google Scholar, focusing on publications between 2020 and 2025. VOSviewer was utilized to identify relationships among frequently used terms, authors, sources, and keywords after data was collected using the PoP software. The analysis results indicate that PBL is becoming increasingly popular in schools and has been proven to have a positive impact on the development of students’ CTS. Furthermore, it was found that PBL contributes significantly to CTS development, and topics such as teaching and learning processes PBL, CTS, and the influence of problem-based models are frequently associated keywords in PBL research. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a foundation for further research and provide insights for education practitioners in designing more contextual and efficient learning models.

This study aims to evaluate the effect of implementing Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach on mathematical reasoning ability of grade VIII students on relation and function material in one of the junior high schools in Pangkalan Kerinci. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive method, involving one class of 20 students. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews and observations, focusing on students' ability to express CTL-based learning concepts. Evaluation was conducted on three main aspects, namely students' mathematical reasoning ability, teachers' competence in facilitating learning, and students' responses to the implementation of CTL learning. The results showed that about 20% of students reached the excellent category in mathematical reasoning, characterized by the achievement of the five reasoning indicators. Although there are still some students with less than optimal reasoning skills, in general, the application of CTL models is proven effective in increasing students' learning motivation, concept understanding, and mathematical reasoning skills. This finding confirms that context-based learning is able to provide a more meaningful and relevant learning experience, and become a potential alternative strategy in an effort to improve the quality of mathematics learning at the junior high school level.

This article is a literature review aimed at analyzing how the application of matrix concepts in real-life contexts can influence students’ motivation to learn mathematics. The main issue addressed is the lack of student interest due to the abstract nature of matrix material, which is often disconnected from their daily experiences. To address this, the study synthesizes findings from previous academic works and analyzes the effectiveness of contextual approaches in mathematics education. The review reveals that learning strategies such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI), and Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) significantly enhance students' conceptual understanding and engagement. When matrix concepts are presented through familiar situation such as scheduling, task allocation, or simple data processing students become more confident, involved, and interested in learning. In conclusion, aligning mathematical content with everyday experiences provides a more relevant and enjoyable learning process that fosters stronger learning motivation and a better appreciation for the practical use of mathematics.

Diabetes is a disease with a growing number of sufferers and is the cause of death of 1.5 million people in the world in 2019. A treatment for diabetes is needed, one of which is by predicting diabetics. The K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN), Random Forest, and Decision Tree methods are some methods that can be used to predict diabetes classification. This research aims to compare the performance of KNN, Random Forest, and Decision Tree methods based on accuracy and computation time. The data used in this study are Pregnancies, Glucose, Insulin, Body Mass Index (BMI), and Age as independent variables and Outcome as a dependent variable. The results of research on data that has not been normalised with Min-Max show that the KNN method has a faster computation time than the other two methods, while based on the accuracy value the Decision Tree method has a higher value than the other two methods. Furthermore, the Min-Max normalised data shows a decrease in the accuracy value of the Decision Tree and Random Forest methods, while the accuracy value of the KNN method has increased. Therefore, the Min-Max normalisation treatment is better used for the KNN method.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate and understand students' ability to rationalize root forms and the elements that influence these abilities, so that it can provide a clear understanding of the level of students' mathematical communication skills in this material and as a reference in improving the mathematics learning process in the future. Educational activities carried out at one of Pekanbaru's high schools on December 1, 2023 were carried out well and efficiently. The method used to obtain information is a quantitative method. Data were collected by filling out question sheets by students. By using this method, researchers can conclude that educators have been able to carry out their duties well. The study shows that most students are quite successful in rationalizing root forms, but some still have difficulty in applying concepts and processes appropriately.

Maize production is one of the main components of food in agriculture in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) with a significant contribution to national production. However, maize production in NTB often fluctuates due to weather conditions, climate, market prices, government policies, land area, resource availability, and access to technology and information. The aims of the research is to determine the prediction of corn production in NTB for 2024-2026. This research uses the least square method to predict maize production based on historical data trends, which allows for more accurate planning. Previous studies have shown that this method is effective in producing accurate predictions for various agricultural commodities. The results are expected to provide predictions that can be used by the government and farmers for better production planning and risk mitigation, and become a reference for the development of prediction techniques in agriculture
