Identification of critical success factors for leveraging Industry 4.0 technology and research agenda: a systematic literature review using PRISMA protocol

PurposeThe purpose of the paper is to identify existing and common critical success factors adapted for implementing Industry 4.0 technology, which is essential to survive in the vulnerability, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity (VUCA) environment by using systematic literature review (SLR) methodology with the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) and content analysis strategy.Design/methodology/approachThe SLR methodology with the PRISMA and content analysis strategy adapted to review 74 papers in peer-reviewed academic journals and industry reports published from 2014 to 2021.FindingsBased on a review of relevant literature, two theoretical contributions have been added to the literature on Industry 4.0. First, this review reveals that 35 (47%) out of total 74 studies assessing the Industry 4.0 implementation in the manufacturing industry, the service industry can also create value through Industry 4.0 implementation, with a lot of potential to increase productivity, which literature has not explicitly focused on. Second, this paper proposes the 12 most common critical factors (training and development, organizational culture, top management support, organizational structure, innovation capability, technological infrastructure, security system, standardization of procedures, financial resources, communication and cooperation, change management and governance) that can be considered as the significant critical factors for successful implementation of Industry 4.0.Originality/valueThe novelty part related to methodological perspective by using the PRISMA approach for systematic review, which cannot be found extensively in existing literature in the context of the Industry 4.0 phenomenon to analyze critical factors.

Systematic Literature Review: MATHEMATICAL CONNECTIONS THROUGH PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING IN TERMS OF ADVERSITY QUOTIENT

Mathematical connection is a skill needed to understand mathematical concepts and relate them to formulas taught, once taught, applied in other subjects, and also applied to the real world. Every student has differences in terms of mathematical connection ability. This is known as the Adversity Quotient (AQ). AQ is divided into three groups namely Climbers, Campers, and Quitters. Apart from the AQ review, there is an appropriate learning model to be used in improving students' mathematical connections, namely the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. PBL is a learning model related to everyday problems. The purpose of this study is to (1) determine the effect of AQ on mathematical connection skills in the PBL learning model (2) determine the influence of AQ on mathematical connection skills. The discussion in this article uses the SLR (System Literature review) method searched from Google Scholar, Scimago Journal Rank, and Publish or Perish from 2013 to 2023. The results of this study get 22 relevant articles. Of the 24 articles studied, 14 articles concluded that mathematical connections are appropriate to use in PBL learning models and 8 articles concluded that the effect of AQ on students' mathematical connections is proportional or directly proportional. Students with a good AQ will have good math connections.

Mathematical optimization of the sustainable gasoline supply chain: systematic literature review

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to review studies on mathematical optimization of the sustainable gasoline supply chain to help decision-makers understand the current situation, the exact dimensions of the problem and the models provided in the literature. So, a more realistic mathematical optimization model can be achieved by fully covering all dimensions of the supply chain of this product. Design/methodology/approach To evaluate and comprehend the mathematical optimization of the sustainable gasoline supply chain research area, a systematic literature review is undertaken that covers material collection, descriptive analysis, content analysis and material evaluation steps. Finally, based on this process, 69 related articles were carefully investigated. Findings The results of the systematic literature review show the main areas of the published papers on mathematical optimization of sustainable gasoline supply chain problems and the gaps for future research in this field presented based on them. Research limitations/implications This approach is subject to limitations because the protocol of the systematic review of the research literature only included searching for the considered combination of keywords in the Scopus and ProQuest databases. Furthermore, the protocol used in this paper restricts documents to English. Practical implications The results have significant implications for both academicians and practitioners in this field. It can be useful for academics to comprehend the gaps and future trends in this field. Also, for practitioners, it can be useful to identify and understand the parts of the mathematical optimization model, which can help them model this problem effectively and efficiently. Originality/value No systematic literature review has been done in this field by considering gasoline to the best of the authors’ knowledge and delivers new facts for the future development of this field.

Students' Critical Thinking Skills in Solving Mathematical Problems: Systematic Literature Review

To develop mathematical critical thinking skills, students are expected to have a fighting attitude in solving mathematical problems. This can support learning that is oriented towards students' critical thinking skills. The purpose of this research is to analyze the trend of studying critical thinking skills in solving students' mathematical problems. This research uses the systematic literature review method which is carried out by identifying, assessing, and interpreting all available research evidence by studying indicators and how to bring up students' mathematical critical thinking skills as the object of research. The design used is to summarize, review, and analyze 25 articles that are very relevant to the object of research in Sinta accredited journals, indexed by Scopus and Web of Science. The results of this systematic literature review state that aspects of argumentation and reasoning are very important to be developed in solving mathematical problems. Implementing problem-based learning has positive effectiveness towards improving mathematical critical thinking skills and digitalization of learning is needed in facilitating students' critical thinking. Digitalization of learning can be developing problem-based digital modules that facilitate students' cognitive conflicts. The conclusion in this research are different indicators used to measure students' critical thinking skills, different aspects of interpreting indicators, the use of PBL, and the use of ICT.

MANAGERIAL ATTITUDE ON EXPORT PERFORMANCE: A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW

This paper aims to present a systematic literature review (SRL) on Managerial attitudes toward export performance. Literature reviews have been considered an essential practice to assess the nature of the wide range of knowledge in different fields of inquiry, allowing future development. Preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) are used to study and assess the nature and quality of the systematic review paper published on the managerial attitude toward export performance. All systematic reviews published across 112 managerial attitudes on export performance journals 2016-2022 were considered for this review. The studys results portray multiple limitations in the design, organization, and execution of current systematic reviews. This search found that 15 out of 112 papers specifically analyze. In particular, this work highlights 15 documents that are direct or indirect. This papers descriptive review results emphasize that none of the contributions considers the qualitative analysis of the managerial attitude on export performance. This paper suggests that managers, entrepreneurs, and investors with the power to make executive decisions must consider the contributions of managerial attitude on export performance. The study contributes to having more knowledge of the managerial attitude toward export performance from the literature review. Conceptual Model of Innovation Capability in Industrial and Academic Research Centers: A Systematic Review

Innovation capability has a multi-dimensional structure and the aggregate resultant performance of these dimensions would bring about the organizational success. The main aim of this study is to introduce a conceptual model of innovation capability in industrial and academic research centers. This paper is a systematic review of the papers published in the field of innovation capability dimension in industrial and academic R&D centers (especially medical sciences universities). The authors have used the standard guideline of systematic review (PRISMA). For this paper, more than 200 full-text articles published between 2000 and 2016 in valid scientific research journals were studied. Based on the conducted study, the innovation capability dimensions and their relationships in two internal and external dimensions were plotted in a conceptual model framework. On the basis of the reviewed studies, six intra-organizational capacities, the management and leadership, organizational resources, knowledge and information management, R&D, organizational culture and the organizational intangible aspects capacity, and two extra-organizational capacities, the environmental capacity of the organization and the extra-organizational relationships and interactions, effective in organization's innovation capability have been determined.
