The globalization of technology, including education, has impacted all facets of life. Therefore, English learning strategies must be studied so teachers can easily choose and determine English learning strategies for teaching students digital base technology. This research aims to describe (1). Digital technology in the world of education; (2). Digital technology-based English learning methods; (3). Digital technology in the development of language learning skills. Hence, this study applied library research methods through gathering research article by utilizing Publish-or-Perish application. The results of this study are (1). Technology supporting education is expected to assist students and educators in carrying out teaching and learning activities in schools; (2). At this time, many English learning methods have been integrated with digital technology. Such as utilizing digital technology using the direct method and others; (3). The use of digital technology is also used in developing students' English skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), for example, the use of YouTube videos, digital posters, digital comics, and Grammarly tools. Henceforth, this study urges the ELT teachers to leverage their digital technology competences as well as their pedagogy to attend meaningful and engaging learning for their students.

Additionally, the use of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning algorithms enables real-time feedback and assessment, empowering learners to improve their language skills independently. This study critically evaluates the effectiveness of AI-driven tools in addressing linguistic challenges, such as pronunciation, grammar, and comprehension, while also considering their socio-cultural implications in diverse learning contexts. By examining the evolving role of AI in ESL education, this research contributes to a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between technology and language pedagogy. Technology in Education is the catalyst and has become a ubiquity in bringing education to all and bridge the digital divide. In the field of Teaching and English Language Learning the profound nature of technology plays a multifarious role. It facilitates both the Teacher and the Learner in the form of Digital Tools. A plethora of digital tool gives us multifaceted use of technology in classrooms by Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). Meticulously using ICT tools will liberate and enable a new way of learning, teaching, communicating, and working collaboratively. The use of digital tools in teaching creates an environment of learner centred education. The intention of this paper is objective to show the impact of the use of ICT tools in English Language teaching among the learners. Incorporating gamification tools creates encouragement and participation also builds teamwork,produce creativity and deep thinking amongst the learners. Therefore, the advancement of technology in education develops an inclusive environment and help the learners to learn the English language. The integration of digital tools in the pedagogy brings the experiential learning among the students and learns the language effectively and productively.

The digital technology-mediated foreign language vocabulary learning involves the use of technological tools such as online and offline dictionaries, multimedia, social media, television, computer, smart-phones, tablets, and similar others. Although many research findings in the existing literature have emphasized the effectiveness of these technological tools on foreign language vocabulary learning, some studies also have suggested that the use of these tools in vocabulary learning does not make a significant difference in student achievement. This meta-analytic research aimed to investigate the overall impact of digital technology-mediated instruction on learning foreign language vocabulary in the Turkish context by calculating the mean effects followed by some moderator analyses. Therefore, 34 experimental studies (41 comparisons), conducted between the years 2003-2018, were included in the study according to the pre-defined coding criteria. The findings revealed that incorporation of digital technologies in foreign language teaching has a positive large impact on students’ vocabulary learning achievement. The effect sizes of two moderators, the study type and grouping methods, were significant, while the study quality, education level, type of technology, and treatment duration, were not significant moderators.

As more various types of computer-assisted language learning (CALL) programs have been incorporated into language classrooms over the recent decades, it has become more important to uncover whether, to what extent, and under which moderator variables CALL can be yield more effective outcomes than traditional language instruction. The issue of education is one of the most important materials addressed by technology. Instead, meta-analysis is a statistical and quantitative method that leads us to a general conclusion by integrating the results of different researches. In this study, researchers worked on the impact of educational technology in English language teaching by studying 67 articles and theses (from 1000 studies that were relevant in title and abstract). All articles and theses were included from 2009 to 2020 and 7 articles were excluded from this study due to insufficient information. Furthermore, two instruments, SPSS (mainly its sub-branch Kruskal-Wallis test) and CMA were used to calculate and evaluate data in this research. The total effect size calculated for studies under both fixed and random models was statistically significant and also the study of effects by year of publication, instruments used in research and research methods showed that their effect size was significant. Teaching English with the help of technology has an effective effect size and has shown the success of this technology in language learning.

By assessing the effectiveness of these applications in diverse learning environments, the study evaluates their ability to enhance linguistic skills, cultural understanding, and overall proficiency in the English language among young students. Furthermore, it investigates the potential challenges and limitations associated with the utilization of AI-powered language learning apps, considering factors such as individual learning styles, technological access, and educational settings. Through meticulous analysis and synthesis of data, this research endeavors to provide valuable insights into optimizing the integration of AI-powered language learning applications within educational curricula. Understanding the nuances of these tools' impact on young learners' language acquisition processes can aid educators, policymakers, and developers in harnessing their potential effectively.

The central problem was to understand how technology reshapes education, both in pedagogical practices and in the development of 21st-century skills. The main objective was to explore the nature and extent of this impact, considering opportunities and challenges for students and teachers. The methodology adopted was a literature review, allowing a critical and comprehensive analysis of relevant publications. The results showed that digital technologies offer significant opportunities to innovate in education, but also present challenges such as unequal access, the need for teacher training, and the adaptation of methodologies. Successful experiences highlighted how effective integration of technology can promote critical skills and educational inclusion. It was concluded that technology is a transformative element in education, capable of improving the quality and effectiveness of teaching. Language educators are responsible for the planning, instruction, assessment, and facilitation of any language course, influencing technology to support language learning. This article emphasizes the need of the significance of teachers’ professional development, digital literacy, and pedagogical training for effective technology incorporation. Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies are revolutionizing language education by offering immersive and interactive experiences that engage learners in ways which are unimaginable. Finally, the article emphasizes that by implementing technology considerately, educators can produce inclusive and lively learning environments that empower learners with essential language skills for the digital age.

This meta-analysis study explores the effectiveness of technology-enhanced language learning in the context of English language teaching. Through a comprehensive review of relevant literature, various research studies were examined to gain insights into the impact and potential of technology in language learning. The findings highlight that the use of new technologies positively contributes to learners' language learning skills and enhances their overall proficiency. Mobile learning and ICT tools have been identified as effective resources that facilitate English language learning by providing accessible and efficient learning environments. Additionally, the research indicates that technology-supported language learning is as effective as learning with human teachers, indicating the potential of technology to offer personalized and tailored learning experiences. However, it is crucial to provide teachers with proper training and support to confidently integrate technology into their teaching practices. Educational institutions should offer comprehensive training programs and allocate sufficient time for teachers to enhance their technological skills and confidently utilize educational technologies. These findings underscore the importance of technology in enhancing language learning outcomes and emphasize the need for ongoing support and professional development for teachers in integrating technology into language teaching.
