Abstract

The objects of research, which was carried out in the Pomeranian Lakeland in the Kościerzyna Forest District, were lakes with Lake Lobelia (Lobelia dortmanna). The most numerous lobelias are found in Lake Małe Oczko, where almost the entire shore grows (80%). The threat to this species is overgrowth of the banks, change in the chemical composition of waters, tourism and the changing level of the water table. Lowering the water level due to the reduced amount of precipitation and drought causes the death of the exposed rosettes and plants.
