Abstract
The study presents an analysis based on the selected literature on the subject and own observations, experiences in the field of work education, including this education in the idea of oratorio education of St. John Bosco. The topic of education for work is a very wide and complex area that should certainly not be underestimated. Don Bosco is said to be one of the greatest educators of today who, as a practitioner and a man of action, developed a timeless educational method. Don Bosco emphasized the freedom to do what the young people like best. The point is to discover in them the germs of giftedness and good character traits, and then to try to develop them. He was guided by the principle that everyone should do what they can with joy. Work shapes the individual. Preparing the young generation for life and professional work is the main task of upbringing. By its very nature, the Salesian environment is to remain a place of growth for young people on the basis of values.
