Abstract

Despite the losses that have come with leaving behind their homeland, their society, and their reading audiences, Iranian writers in exile have also creatively overcome many challenges and, in the process, have reinvented themselves. They are no longer simply Iranian writers, or Iranian writers in exile, but have become “world writers.”
