Abstract

Summary The studies were performed at the University Experimental Center in Balcyny in the period 2010–2011. The objective of the studies was to evaluate usability of Take Off (seed treatment component) with seed dressing Premis Pro 080 FS in control of fungal disease infection as well as to determine its effects on growth, development and yield of spring barley. Application of Take Off seed treatment component with other seed dressing resulted in insignificant decrease of barley infection by Oculimacula spp. and Fusarium spp. and leaves by Drechslera teres. It also showed tendency in control of effectiveness of conventional seed treatment such as Premis Pro 080 FS against all evaluated diseases. Application of Premis Pro 080 FS and Take Off seed treatment in spring barley resulted in significantly higher seed emergence, and tendency towards increase of plant biomass together with an increase of the number of heads, as well as increase of grain number per barley head. Premis Pro 080 FS and Take Off seed treatment application increased yield of spring barley comparing to an untreated control and to plots treated only with Premis Pro 080 FS but the differences were insignificant.

Summary

Introduction

Celem doświadczeń była ocena przydatności komponentu zaprawowego Take Off stosowanego z zaprawą Premis Pro 080 FS w ograniczaniu porażenia przez grzyby patogeniczne oraz określenie jego wpływu na wzrost, rozwój i plonowanie jęczmienia jarego. Zastosowanie w jęczmieniu jarym komponentu zaprawowego Take Off wraz z zaprawą nasienną redukowało nieistotnie stopień porażenia źdźbeł przez Oculimacula spp. i Fusarium spp. oraz liści przez Drechslera teres, a nawet powodowało widoczną tendencję do ograniczenia skuteczności działania zaprawy Premis Pro 080 FS w odniesieniu do wszystkich nazw ocenianych chorób.
