Abstract

In order to stimulate and attract interests of elementary school children towards the fields of science, the extra-curriculum project team of undergraduate students has performed a series of science experiment lessons at local elementary schools over 15 years. From children and teachers of the elementary schools, positive responses have been obtained. Different from conventional collaboration cases between universities/colleges and local schools in primary and secondary education, the extra-curriculum status of the project team is believed to be important for realizing favorable results.
