Abstract
A group of 22 companies from different sectors was selected in order to carry a diagnosis related to work conditions in the city of Barranquilla. In order to do such, an instrument was designed so that the relevant information was collected. With such information, the weak points were detected mostly related to climatic conditions, physical strain, noise and social welfare and low cost measures were discussed to be implemented in order to improve work conditions. Such measures are expected to generate an increase in productivity and an enhancement in the operatives’ attitude.
