Abstract
The role of women in electrical engineering, which has been historically small, is growing stronger. In order to gain a distinct competitive advantage, universities, professional organizations, and industry are developing programs that target attracting and retaining women engineers. These programs, along with the support of professionals in the engineering workforce, will help to create an environment where engineers will be able to contribute and develop to their fullest potential. >
