Abstract

A 1999 national survey of public and private rehabilitation facilities and agencies was conducted to determine the availability of assistive technology (AT) training to consumers with visual impairments, which services were requested and provided, which AT devices were used in training, who provided the training, and what the trainers’ qualifications were.
