Abstract

As harm reductionists find new sources of funding and policy support and identify recovery‐focused organizations as natural allies, some are predicting that 2022 will mark a new level of synergy between groups that represent current and former substance users. Could this in turn mean diminished influence for the traditional treatment organizations that still find some of the boldest ideas in harm reduction foreign to their vision?
