Abstract

ABSTRACTA wideband vertical via transition utilizing coaxial impedance alternating low‐pass structure in low temperature co‐fired ceramic (LTCC) substrate is proposed for DC to 30GHz frequency band. The low‐pass structure is composed of seven‐stage cascaded high‐low impedance sections coated with Ferro A6S LTCC material. Measured results show better than −1 dB S21 and −12 dB S11 are achieved from DC to 30GHz. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 57:1965–1968, 2015
