Abstract

Today’s wheel alignment monitoring systems acquire numerous computer vision technologies and also require expensive high-end cameras, precisely manufactured objects, and huge computational loops and also require an experienced operator. In order to enhance this, an easy, user-friendly, and low-cost method employing an MPU6050 sensor and ESP32 microcontroller is utilized and a customized graphic user interface (GUI) has been developed. The proposed IoT based wheel alignment system has been tested on a vehicle and the results obtained have been compared with the conventional system which produced satisfactory results. The proposed method is possible for practical usage and features a great potential to be a good alternative to existing wheel alignment inspection methods.
