Abstract

If a heavy vector meson V exists in the mass range ⩾ 30 GeV of the new electron-positron storage rings its weak decay modes might be observable. The signature of these decays will be e + + e − → single charged lepton + hadrons + missing energy at the center-of-mass energy √ s = m V. Mesons with new quantum numbers could be observed below the pair production threshold.
