Abstract
The objective of this video is to systematically review components of vulvar anatomy for learners, and to review standardized anatomical terms, based on Terminologia Anatomica and prior findings from the Society for Gynecologic Surgeons Pelvic Anatomy Group. The video illustrates on a patient some of the key vulvar anatomic landmarks and reviews some relevant clinical correlates of these structures. Palpable anatomic landmarks are demonstrated. Throughout the video we emphasize preferred and non-preferred terms for each anatomic structure. This video can be used by learners at all stages of clinical education to review relevant vulvar anatomy and appropriate terminology prior to vaginal surgical procedures.
