Abstract

The article analyzed the process of implementing the 5E model, the methods of using experiments to form new knowledge and the manifestations of the competence to inquiry the natural world from a chemical perspective. Thereby (1) showing the suitability of virtual experiments with the 5E model in teaching chemistry to develop the ability to understand the natural world from a chemical perspective; (2) Propose the application process and activities of teachers and students in applying the 5E model and using virtual experiments in teaching chemistry; (3) Building an illustrative example through the topic "Rate of reaction" - Chemistry 10. To evaluate and confirm the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed content, the article was conducted the pedagogical experiment with the 10th grader at Tran Van Lan High School, Nam Dinh province.
