Abstract
PROGRESS in understanding the immunological features of feline panleucopaenia has, for many years, been impeded due to failure to isolate the causal agent of the disease. That this agent has the properties of a virus has been evident since the original observations of Verge and Christoforoni1, but although many viruses have been isolated from sick and healthy cats, none has been shown to be related to the feline panleucopaenia syndrome2.
