Abstract
Since past few years, telecommunications has become one of the most interesting fields for researchers and engineers. The telecommunication high-speed networks are coming up with a variety of services, most important of which is Video-on-Demand (VOD). The present research article discusses the design and architecture of a VoD system. The article also discusses the various issues related with the performance modeling of a VoD system.
