Abstract
Very-minimum Periodic Chirp Keying (VPCK) is proposed as a novel ultra-narrow band scheme. Because of well-proportioned distribution of spectrum, this type of VPCK possesses less bandwidth and higher bandwidth efficiency. By comparing spectrum with Very Minimum Chirp Keying (VMCK), sine-like wave Very-minimum Waveform Difference Keying (VWDK), square wave Very Minimum Shift Keying (VMSK) and minimum frequency shift keying (MSK), the VPCK UNB characteristics has been verified. The system structures are given and higher bandwidth efficiency has been showed in case of orthogonality.
