Abstract
Vertical eddy diffusivities below the thermocline were estimated for Lake Lanao, Philippines, from vertical heat transport. Mean values range from 1.08 cm2·s−1 at 22 m to 0.22 at 44 m. The values are not notably divergent from expected values in temperate lakes of similar sizes and depth.
