Abstract

Detailed Raman spectra of oriented single crystals of urea-H 4 and urea D- 4 have been recorded at various temperatures between 77–350K. These spectra together with their corresponding polarized Raman spectra at 293K and 77K have been used in the assignments of the low frequency spectrum of urea.
