Abstract

At Digital Equipment Corporation, multicultural training receives top-level commitment and takes place in all sites where employees reside—from Massachusetts to Switzerland, Tokyo to Tennessee, California to Maine, and everyplace in between. Forums range from multicultural workshops to informal conversations in hallways to the Multicultural Awareness Day in Arizona, which drew hundreds of employees and their families for a celebration and entertainment.
