Abstract

Objective To discuss the effect of whole-course accountability nursing mode on promoting natural childbirth and improving nursing satisfaction of the pregnant and postpartum.Methods The rate of natural childbirth and nursing satisfaction were compared between the pregnant and postpartum who adopted whole-course accountability nursing (the observation group) and who adopted the mode of post function nursing (the control group).Results The rate of natural childbirth was 82.50% in the observation group and 63.75% in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (x2 =28.62,P < 0.01).The average score of nursing satisfaction was (86.62 ± 9.04) in the observation group and (76.85 ± 14.66) in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (t =10.147,P < 0.01).Conclusions Whole-course accountability nursing mode,an advanced nursing method,can effectively improve natural childbirth rate and nursing satisfaction of the pregnant and postpartum.
