Lithuanian ethnographic region of Samogitia is famous for its songs, dances and hymns. Among many hymns there are those dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel. The results of the research validate the hypothesis that hymns dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel are cultural heritage of priests and monks of Samogitia (later – Telšiai) diocese.
