Residual ridge resorption remains a significant concern in the field of prosthodontics and implant dentistry, posing challenges in the successful rehabilitation of edentulous patients. Residual ridge resorption is a common phenomenon following a tooth extraction, leading to significant changes in the alveolar ridge's shape and volume. This article aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the various treatment modalities available for managing residual ridge resorption.
