Abstract
The lack of interest in writing among students causes a lack of short story writing skills. The researcher uses a method in the form of library research (library research) with research data sourced from secondary data that is relevant to the topic of discussion regarding students, short story writing skills, and the Wattpad application. The research procedure uses opinions according to Tahmidaten Krismanto (2020) regarding the literature study research process in data collection. The conclusion is that the Wattpad application plays an important role as a supporting medium to improve students' abilities and creativity in writing works in the form of short stories.
