Abstract

Reasons why electronic document delivery can be a better choice than traditional interlibrary loan services for libraries and how libraries can use telecommunications networking and the Internet to facilitate document delivery services are presented. In addition, four electronic document delivery systems are discussed and copyright compliance issues associated with document delivery services explored.
