Abstract
The work is devoted to discussing the problems of using production waste and chewing gum. This food product in its composition, together with syrups, starch, sugar or sorbitol, and fl avorings, contains a non-food product — rubber in an amount of about 20% of the product weight. The issues of using waste rubbers and compositions in the production of chewing gum for various purposes, including the production of adhesives or packaging, are discussed.
