AbstractCommercial Banking (MIC: 8.1 SIC: 6022 NAIC: 522110)U.S. Bancorp is a multi‐state financial services holding company that operates through its subsidiary, U.S. Bank. Co.'s banking and investment services are provided through a network of 2,472 banking offices mainly operating across 24 states in the lower and upper Midwest as well as throughout the Southwest and Northwest, and conducts financial business in all 50 states at Dec 31 2006. In addition, Co. provides a range of products and services through four core lines of business, including Wholesale Banking, Payment Services, Wealth Management and Consumer Banking. As of Dec 31 2006, Co. had total assets of $219.23 billion and total deposits of $124.88 billion.
