Bisphenol A (BPA) is a synthetic chemical used in the production of polycarbonate plastic and epoxy resins found in consumer products. In experimental animals, BPA has been associated with embryo implantation failure and reduced litter size. We evaluated the association of urinary BPA concentrations with risk of implantation failure in women undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF).
