Abstract
This investigation was focused on the novel magnetic nanoparticles anchored deep eutectic solvent namely Fe3O4@SiO2@(CH2)3-urea-dithiocarbamic acid/Ch-Cl as a heterogeneous catalyst. The formation of the catalyst was confirmed by several techniques including FT-IR spectroscopy, FE-SEM, TEM, EDX, elemental mapping, TGA/DTG and VSM analysis. Fe3O4@SiO2@(CH2)3-urea-dithiocarbamic acid/Ch-Cl was applied as environmentally sustainable and recoverable catalyst for the synthesis of novel hybrid pyridones containing triazole and sulfonamide moieties. X-ray crystallography was also used for the accurate determination of the structure of hybrid pyridones. In addition, based on revealed results, pyridone isomer was solely confirmed compared to its relevant tautomer (pyridine). In the current study, cooperative geminal-vinylogous anomeric-based oxidation concept has been used for suggesting a plausible mechanism for the synthesis of target molecules.
