Abstract
Abstract The Neutron Materials Science Center (NMSC) was organized in 1964 by the Metal Physics Institute (MPI) on the basis of the research reactor IVV-2M. The main goal of the Center is the development of investigations in condensed matter physics using fast and thermal neutrons. The Center is also open to all scientific research and industrial establishments in the Ural region to carry out experiments and accepts requests for investigations.
