Abstract

Calcium and Parathyroid hormone (PTH) are related with the development and progression of prostate cancer. In addition, the hypothesis that serum calcium and PTH stimulate prostate growth in men without clinical prostate cancer has previously been shown. We evaluated the relationship between prostate size, prostate-specific antigen (PSA), serum calcium and PTH.
