Abstract

For the treatment of chronic ureteral stricture usually a nephrostomy or a double-J stent are used. These devices need to be changed frequently. A new self-expanding large caliber stent inserted in the obstructed ureter might be able to overcome this problem. Therefore we evaluate the mid-term effectiveness of the new Allium ureteral stents in chronic ureteral stenosis.
