Numerous individuals experience irreversible harm to their organs and tissues every year, necessitating the exploration of a potential remedy that combines injectable gels with advancements in stem cell research. These treatments provide minimally invasive options and improved tissue functionality by utilizing cross-linked polymeric networks that replicate cellular environments.This review involves the utilization of injectable gels, which are comprised of either synthetic or natural polymers. These gels have demonstrated exceptional efficacy as carriers for stem cells, offering the necessary physical flexibility required for tissue repair procedures that involve the use of needles. There is an emerging inclination towards biomimetic gels, which suggests their capacity to enhance the overall well-being of individuals afflicted with tissue-related ailments.The present review explores the potential applications and in-vitro utilization of injectable biomedical gels, with a particular focus on the progress made in the development of in-situ gels for cartilage and bone tissue engineering. In addition to traditional treatment methods, this study delves into the synergistic possibilities of utilizing injectable gels and stem cell therapies to facilitate tissue repair and regeneration. This review article provides valuable insights into the nuances of regenerative medicine, with a specific focus on the regeneration of cartilage and bone.
