Abstract

Chromium--molybdenum steel was welded to form ERNi-Cr-3 using an automatic gas tungsten-arc process. Unusual creep behavior was observed at 727/sup 0/, 783/sup 0/ and 839/sup 0/K. This behavior is described as instantaneous elongation, strain burst or spontaneous deformation. (FS)
