Abstract

To report a case of uterine fistula arising after laparoscopic myomectomy after a uterine artery embolization. Case report. A university hospital center. A 38-year-old woman with a uteroperitoneal fistula after laparoscopic myomectomy after a uterine artery embolization. Laparoscopic excision of the fistula and repair of the myometrial defect with laparoscopic suture. Not applicable. Complete correction of the myometrial defect was observed after laparoscopic surgery. Uterine artery embolization before myomectomy may interfere with myometrial cicatrization and thus alter the repair.
