Abstract
The magnetic properties of ErAl2 have been investigated by neutron diffraction measurements at 300, 77, and 4.2 °K. ErAl2 is ferromagnetic with an additional weak antiferromagnetic peak of unknown origin. The magnetic moment is 8.8 μʙ per Er3+.
