Abstract

This paper studies the numerical algorithm for solving second order linear and nonlinear three-point boundary value problems with Dirichlet and mixed type boundary conditions using uniform Haar wavelet collocation method. Some numerical examples are demonstrated with the help of tables and graphs to predict the efficiency and accuracy of the m ethod. Convergence analysis of the proposed method is also discussed. The L2-error and absolute error for the given problems depict a great agreement between the exact solution and approximate solution obtained by the proposed method.
