Abstract

Abstract
We report the case of a 36-year-old male with severe scrotal swelling undiagnosed after multiple diagnostic tests. Patient presented with scrotal swelling, multiple weeping ulcers on the dorsal aspect of the scrotum, and worsening pain affecting day-to-day functioning. Duplex ultrasonography showed low to no-flow hypervascularity and dependent edema suspicious of vascular malformation. Treatment included sequential gelfoam embolization utilizing ultrasound-guided direct cannulation and traditional angiography. Scrotal circumference reduced by sixty-five percent with moderate relief of his pain. This case highlights the significance of vascular malformations, the various diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, and the value of endovascular embolization.
