Abstract
In particular the possibility to withdraw from an agreement to conciliate when a dispute has arisen is criticised. Articles 4 and 5 of the Model Law should be revised. Apart from this, several other suggestions have been made for the revision of the Model Law. The suggestion has been made to use for the revision a non-legal approach. UNCITRAL could produce a Document of Recommendations for states that envisage adoption of the Model Law.
