Abstract
<p>Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar um estudo de caso, a partir do modelo de AUBERT (2006), para refletir sobre as modalidades, analisando seu uso em relação aos marcadores culturais e observando quais modalidades são mais usadas no contexto jurídico. Para isso, foi extraído um corpus da lei francesa sobre o divórcio, bem como um corpus correspondente na lei brasileira.</p>
